Anna Mae Gordon is a bi-coastal actor, director and comedian.

Gordon starred in and co-created the pilot episode of her sketch comedy web series, Hot Snacks, which was selected by 9 festivals worldwide (including Seriesfest, T.O. Webfest, and LA Comedy Film Festival). The pilot won 7 awards (including Best Series Pilot by NYIFA), and was nominated for 11.

Think the comedic Ilana Glazer or dramedic Tatiana Maslany. Gordon holds training from Actors Studio Drama School and the Moscow Art Theatre Summer School - in addition to improv comedy training at UCB and extensive stand-up experience in LA and NYC. Some of the many venues she has performed at include - The Comedy Store, The Comedy Chateau, The Stand, Eastville Comedy Club, as well as internationally, at Monkey Business Comedy Club and Up The Creek Comedy Club in London, Ha’Penny Comedy Club in Dublin, Comedy Lab Paris, and The Real Show Berlin.

In addition to her stand-up, Gordon's recent theatre performances include Kylar in Tonya Pinkins' production of Bring it On!, originating the role Claire in Samuel Blue Gibson’s new play, The Consultation with the Actors Circle Ensemble, and dance theatre at the Women's March Reunion NYC with her theatre group, Complicate the World Collective. She also recently starred in an experimental short film, Kiss, which screened at Angaelica Film Festival and Philadelphia Independent Film Festival.

Gordon’s film directing debut, Dressed as Girlwas featured at festivals nationwide, including Outfest, Portland Film Festival, and NewFest. Notable stage directing credits include Book of Liz by Amy and David Sedaris, Ugly on the Inside by Steven and Whitney Boe, and Intuitively by Aaron Nussdorf for the Off-Broadway venue, Three-Legged Dog Theatre

Gordon is a member of The Actors Studio Playwright/Directors Workshop, currently presenting her original work The Inpatient.
